Lavender at Lotus View Ranch
Grown, harvested, and made in the Sierra Foothills
U-Pick Lavender • Saturdays in July & August • 10 AM–4 PM

A Small Lavender Field in a Remarkable Place
Our lavender grows beside the pond at Lotus View Ranch, surrounded by oak woodlands, pine forest, and the rolling hills of the Sierra foothills. We currently grow about one-third of an acre and are gradually expanding the field with plants we propagate in our own ranch greenhouse — including a new row of white lavender alongside the traditional purple varieties.
Like everything we do at Lotus View Ranch, the lavender field is a hands-on family project: grown, tended, harvested, and shared here on the ranch.
U-Pick Lavender Saturdays
Spend a summer day among the lavender. Walk the field, enjoy the pond-side setting, and cut your own fresh lavender to take home.
Saturdays in July & August • 10 AM–4 PM • $20 per U-Pick bundle
We provide the clippers and show you how much to cut — roughly a generous 4-inch bundle measured around the stems. We're not too particular about the exact size; we have plenty of lavender and want you to enjoy the experience.

Just want to visit? Come on out — there's no charge to walk the field and see what we're growing, and you're welcome to take snapshots with your phone or camera. Professional photographers bringing clients for paid photo sessions are welcome by prior arrangement; a location fee applies.

Made Here at the Ranch
We harvest and distill our lavender on-site with our copper still, producing small batches of lavender essential oil and hydrosol. From there, our family creates soaps, lotions, and other seasonal products right here at the ranch. We also distill Woodbalm — also known as pitcher sage — for hydrosol and soaps.
Depending on the season, our offerings may include:
-
Lavender essential oil and hydrosol
-
Handcrafted soaps and lotions
-
Woodbalm hydrosol and soaps
-
Fresh and dried lavender
-
Seasonal ranch products
Because we make in small batches and work with what we grow and harvest, our selection changes throughout the year — there's always something new to try.
